Challenge:

An energy efficiency company manufacturing patented smart motor technology and control systems desired to break into the CRE and facilities management industry verticals. The team’s technology was highly effective, but they lacked the domain expertise, sales process and resources needed to quickly scale within the new verticals.

Solution:

Our team built a data-driven sales process that enabled Turntide to obtain critical scoping documentation, while simultaneously qualifying customer opportunities—leading to a fine-tuned sales forecast based on actual data. Additionally, our team successfully sourced, scoped and closed a $2.4M opportunity with this Fortune 500 client at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic using this process. As a result, Turntide exceeded quarterly sales goals at a time when corporations were halting spending.

Impact:

Completely reimagined sales process resulting in $3M in net new revenue within the first 6 months, and a pipeline in excess of $20M.
